 Classes are available for children ages 3 through 5. Classes are held 3 days per week from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 noon.  The preschool is for children ages 3 through 5 and is taught by a staff of qualified and experienced teachers. All classes are taught in our bright, spacious room located in the church's education wing and is handicap accessible. Children will learn cooperation, problem solving, develop self-confidence, become more independent, develop listening skills, expressive language, learn about sharing, taking turns, develop creativity and imagination, learn respect for others' feelings, and for others' property. PHILOSOPHY The basic philosophy of New Jerusalem Preschool is to enable each child to discover their fullest potential, to be caring, creative, happy, be responsible, spontaneous, and independent through a well-rounded program enriched with a Christian emphasis. We will strive to meet the emotional, social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual needs of each child. Activities Include:
Art, Music, Story Time, Dramatic Play, Block Play, Show 'n Tell, Self-selected Activities, Group Circle Time, Science and Nature, Cooking Experiences + + + + + + NEW JERUSALEM PRESCHOOL UPDATE We have jumped into January with a busy schedule filled with lots of fun learning activities. We currently have ten students; our newest student, Christiaan, has just relocated to this area from South Africa. We are now open five days a week with our Pre-K class coming on Monday and Wednesdays and our three-year class coming on Tuesdays and Thursdays; both classes attend on Fridays. Pre-K has begun their Lunch Bunch on Wednesdays, with 100% participation. They are also beginning with their Student and Letters of the Week. We just enjoyed making our own butter for our baby bagels, and next week we will have a pajama party and eat some popcorn and play with pigs (will Pastor Tricia come and play???)
